Thermaltake Door Prizes

Thermaltake Australia have kindly sent this lot of goodies which will be used as door prizes at the DOTA2 Tournament on Sunday 31st August.

Participants on the day will be asked to write their name on a piece of paper, from which we will draw it out of a hat, as the day goes on, and the winner will get the designated prize.  Spectators will be encouraged to do the same since we don't want them to feel like they're missing out.

We do hope to see a big crowd on the day as what we expect will be an exciting tournament.

Canberra DOTA2 Tournament

Hello and welcome to the Canberra DOTA2 Blog!

I'll be doing my best to keep this blog updated as much as possible.  Hopefully I can put together some team previews and interviews to give insight into some of the teams playing on the day.

Biggest news for now though is that the tournament will be postponed a week later since I didn't expect to have this many teams sign up.  You can say that Canberra e-sports has been sort of dormant.  Although we've had tournaments held privately at places such as ANU, UC, and LANS, this is probably the biggest one I've seen since the days of ACTGN, ESWC qualifiers and WCG qualifiers.

This will be a collaboration between The Barracks and SKY Internet Cafe, of which The Barracks will be hosting 8 teams while SKY Internet Cafe will host 4 teams.

The details are below and stay tuned folks.
